Pastor Joe Mallozzi was born in Providence, Rhode Island, where he was raised. In 1960, he met his wife of forty-one years, Betty. They were married in 1965 and both received Jesus Christ as their Savior in 1975.
After many years of owning a successful auto body shop, Pastor went on to Baptist Bible College in Boston in 1982, graduating in 1985. That year, God called both Pastor and Betty along with their four children to Auburn, Maine where they have served the Lord for the past twenty-one years, pastoring the Auburn Baptist Church. Surely the hand of the Lord was revealed from the beginning as the Gospel was preached and personal evangelism was practiced. Souls were saved, followed by baptism and new outreach ministries were born. The ministry of Auburn Baptist Church extends beyond the borders of Maine and New England, believing it is God's mandate to the local New Testament church to evangelize the world with the Gospel of Christ supporting over forty missionaries. God has abundantly blessed our ongoing ministry of missions. ABC has also extended it's outreach by preparing men to serve the Lord in other ministries.
Only a fraction of the goodness of God to this church family has been mentioned. The story of changed lives through the past twenty-one years could be told by hundreds. To God we give the glory for everything that has been accomplished.
To the dedicated people that have faithfully given their service and substance to the work of God in this church, we wish to sincerely thank you for investing your lives in the ministry here at Auburn Baptist Church.
As we look to the future, we look to the One that has valiantly brought us thus far, the Lord Jesus Christ. We shall, by God's grace and His great power, lift up the name of Jesus!
